Assessment
The assessment process begins with an extensive intake interview. At this time, our certified counselors also administer psychological, behavioral, and personality tests. These tests include the Myers Briggs personality test and the Life Styles Inventory test, and can also include the measurement of IQ and EQ, decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and team skills, and empowerment and accountability.
Once the assessment and initial counseling is completed, the consultant sits with the client to discuss the results. We get to know core values at the
outset: What is the candidate's motivation?
Through these meetings, the consultant assists the client in crystallizing
his or her skills and interests, in taking ownership of
his or her strengths, and in establishing career objectives.
When people come to Kelleher Associates, they have reached the end of
a career stage. Their position was eliminated due to organizational restructuring or downsizing. We guide people to articulate with confidence their interests, skills and strengths and
to come to an obtainable objective. Only once a career objective has been established can we assist clients in building their
resumes and securing their next position.

Resume
and Profile Development
Starting with a blank piece of paper, the
our consultant work with the client in creating a general
objective. From there, the building blocks for the resume are
developed and integrated into an "A" selling
document. In addition to one-on-one consultations, Kelleher Associates provides all the resources necessary to give clients the competitive edge. Our clients have access to our in-house library, computers, databases, and high caliber resume samples. We don't just help clients build good resumes; we help build excellent ones. Starting with the resume, we assist clients in establishing their unique selling
proposition to be used with search professionals and
prospective employers.

Personal Marketing Plan
Once the resume is built, it is time to go into "launch mode." The first active phase of the campaign is market research. Kelleher Associates teaches clients how to interact with the people they already know as this is the heart of the whole
process that leads to people who are enablers of your next position.
In addition to facilitating interactions, we give our clients full access to our research facilities and databases to research Industries, Companies and the job market. Kelleher Associates is not a
search firm. We give clients the resources and skills necessary to find the most suitable employment.
Finding a job consists
of one third market research and two thirds Sales and Marketing. Although job hunting consists of the search and a small part of the visible market,(i.e.,
those jobs that are advertised) two thirds of our clients get jobs
that are not advertised or posted on job boards through networking.

Interviewing Training
Kelleher Associates makes sure every client is fully primed, prepped, and prepared for each job interview through one-on-one training, role-playing and videotaping. We assist in preparing
questions and rehearsing answers. At Kelleher Associates, each client is always treated as an individual with unique talents and
requirements, and we help you package these attributes
for the interview.

Opportunity Evaluation/Negotiations
Once a client gets an offer, Kelleher Associates helps evaluate
and negotiate the offer. On occasion, a client will get more than one
offer at the same time, in which case, we help them choose the most suitable
position consistent with their personal objectives.

Getting a Fast Start In Your New Position
Now that you have accepted a new position, your actions during the first few months in your new role will have a major impact on your ultimate success in that role. Transitioning into a new company marks a crucial “moment of truth” because your new organization is expecting meaningful and positive change to occur. Therefore, knowing how to get a fast start in your new role will have a disproportionate effect on your personal satisfaction and how you are viewed by your new employer in the short, medium, and long term. At Kelleher Associates, Inc. we focus on this often overlooked, but critical element of the career transition process in order to help you succeed in that next
role.

Coaching/Counseling Meetings
Because a career transition can be a time for reflection and evaluation, we offer counseling delivered by fully qualified counselors. In these meetings, our counselors guide the client through the grieving process - the denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and, finally,
acceptance, leading to the development of a robust
campaign to secure the next position for our clients.
